Retail Zone - New Street
Although the main ground-floor land use in the central area of Birmingham CBD is retailing, the floor space above this is often used as office space, and even hotel accomodation. New Street forms a pedestrian artery from the entertainment and administration zone surrounding Victoria Square to the Bullring retail development. It has shops along its entire length, together with the Odeon Cinema.
